Lensmonkey was set up in 2006 by husband and wife team - Phil & Kate.
The brand name originated from Phil's nickname (The Lensmonkey) from his days at the BBC!
With the combination of Phil’s experience as a BBC Lighting Cameraman, his passion for photography and Kate’s editing and business background, the couple brought their skills together to do something they love!
As a Director of Photography & Drone Pilot with 20 years experience in the television industry, Phil works for a number of high profile clients including the BBC, Prime Video, Channel 4, ITV and Channel 5.
Having received his 'Permission For Commercial Operation' from the CAA in 2017, Phil is now in demand as a Drone Operator.
Lensmonkey is based near Porthcawl in South Wales, where the couple live with their two children.
